WTO Chair at Tunis Business School: Call for PhD funding
In 2014, Tunis Business School was selected for the WTO Chair Programme (WCP). The WCP is designed to assist the University of Tunis in providing students with a deeper understanding of trade policy issues, as well as to strengthen Tunisia’s participation in international trade. It lasts 4 years.
The objectives of this project are three-fold: to develop capacity-building in regards to teaching on international trade issues within the Tunisian university, to encourage research on pressing questions and issues pertaining to current global trade patterns, and to engage in outreach activities in order to facilitate increased understanding of global trade issues among various sectors of society.
Within the research axis, the WTO Chair at TBS is engaging in research on global value chains and trade agreements. The WTO Chair would like to recruit a PhD student to work on these issues. She/he will be working under the supervision of the WTO Chair holder, Dr. Leila Baghdadi.
